The following documents were developed as part of a Delaware Policy Team Development Initiative, a joint project of the Delaware School Boards Association and three offices in the University of Delaware's College of Human Resources, Education, and Public Policy: The Delaware Education Research and Development Center; the Institute for Public Administration; and the Conflict Resolution Program. Funding was provided by the Rockefeller Foundation and the University of Delaware. Each document contains: → an introduction to the topic including summaries, recommendations, and self-assessment questionnaires; → an overview of theory and research related to the issues as well as an annotated bibliography and pertinent articles; → information about relevant federal and state legislation and a data organizer for examining district policies; and, → additional resources including models and approaches along with information about available human and financial resources. |
